About This Place

Brothers Seafood Restaurant, nestled at 6 Olney St in Seekonk, MA, is a must-visit destination for any seafood aficionado craving authentic New England flavors. Specializing in seafood cuisine, this unpretentious yet welcoming spot offers a dining experience that’s refreshingly focused on what truly matters—the quality and freshness of the food.

Step inside and you’ll notice the straightforward, no-frills atmosphere that some might call “bare bones,” but what it lacks in décor it more than makes up for in warmth and attentive service. The staff here pour their energy into ensuring every guest feels cared for while serving dishes that burst with ocean-fresh goodness.

The menu reads like a love letter to classic seafood staples and comfort food. Highlights include perfectly crisp, golden calamari and plump, juicy fried clams that offer a melody of crunchy textures and tender interiors. The Lobster Roll, a standout favorite, arrives generously packed with sweet lobster chunks lightly caressed by just a hint of mayo, paired with addictive sweet potato fries that add the perfect balance of sweetness and crunch. If you want a hearty feast, the Fisherman’s Seafood Platter is a treasure trove of seven types of seafood—including scallops, shrimp, clams, clam strips, smelts, and calamari—each bite delivering layers of oceanic delight for only $25.99.

No visit here would be complete without sampling their chowders, which come in both creamy white and savory red versions, lovingly described as “mom’s homemade Portuguese soup”—a recipe passed down and perfected for over 40 years. The clam chowder is richly comforting, brimming with tender clams and scallops, making it the ideal warmth-inducing start to any meal.

For families, Brothers Seafood hasn’t forgotten the little ones. Their kids’ menu serves up classic comfort plates like grilled cheese and fries or spaghetti and meatballs, ensuring everyone leaves happy and satisfied.

Guests consistently praise Brothers Seafood for its generous portions and authentic flavors. John Palenchar highlights the light, flaky texture of the haddock fish and chips, cooked in a perfectly crispy batter that’s simply irresistible. Lori Riccitelli raves about the lobster bisque with generous lobster chunks and the perfectly non-greasy whole bellied clams. William Svendsen lauds it as probably the best lobster roll his wife has ever had, and multiple visitors have expressed their delight in discovering this neighborhood gem—one they undoubtedly plan to return to again and again.

In essence, Brothers Seafood Restaurant is where freshness meets tradition, and hearty portions come paired with friendly smiles. Whether you’re craving a casual bite of crispy fried shrimp or a comforting bowl of rich clam chowder, this Seekonk spot delivers a genuine taste of coastal New England with every plate.

Three stars for “atmosphere” because this little strip mall restaurant is bare bones. BUT that means they put their $$$ into incredibly fresh, well-prepared seafood and super friendly and attentive staff. My “medium” 2-piece haddock fish and chips came in at a “market price” of $14–and was it ever good! Fish was light and flaky in a light, crispy batter. Highly recommend this place. An “off the beaten track” gem.

I had the Lobster Roll ($30) on my first visit and then went back another day for the whole belly clams and fried fish combo ($19). Was very good and the combo comes with a generous portion of fries.

Where has this place been my whole life! Delicious food and generous serving sizes. Everything I ate was amazing. There should be a line from the RI border to this place. Lobster bisque had generous lobster chunks, whole clam bellies were not greasy, and the lobster roll only had a hint of mayo and a large portion. Definitely get what you pay for. Yummmmmy.

Probably the best lobster roll my wife has ever had. All lobster, and plenty of it at a reasonable price. I really enjoyed the Portuguese soup and the shrimp mozambique. Great food, great service. Make it a place to go!!

My son and I went, there on Oct/18/25 it is a small place. I would normally, just go in and order something then go home to eat it. I do enjoy their food and the server's are always pleasant. That is why I took my son there, that was visiting me from Rochester NY. It was my 1st time sitting in to eat. He, choose as a appetizers a stuffie so I got one too. Because I had never try their's. It was a little to dry, for my liking. Even tho, I still ate it. I had pick the Seafood Pasts with shrimp, clams, scallops in white sauce. It was scrumptious. . My son had pick the special, that they had going on that day. He was delighted with what he pick. I will say, the only annoying thing was a fly that kept trying to land on our food. Until I played karate kid and got it. Lol we both laughed. But then it's cousin came around lol. I was going to try to get that one as well. It mush had known, because it took off. Lol. Next time I'll bring a bug zipper with me. Lol But all in all you will enjoy their food and the amount they give you, it is worth the money. Bon Appétit

Food was great. The Lobster roll had plenty of lobster. I wish the bun was a little bit bigger. The fries were fresh, hot and the perfect texture. The restaurant is small, so I can imagine on a busy night, you wouldn't have a place to sit. I also recommend not having the television on any one particular news station, unless you have one of the other televisions on a separate news channel with opposite view points.
